An Update to My Faith Crisis
I have stumbled upon this channel called An Inconvenient Faithwhich goes into the stickier side of church doctrine. Going to watch all the videos they have. First one I’m watching is episode 9 which touches on prophets and revelation.
I’ll report back on my thoughts once I’ve watched it all.
Update:
It’s apparent these videos are meant to be a neutral stance on each topic, allowing both parties to present their side of the issues presented. But while watching them I can’t help but feel like the church’s stance is in the wrong in most cases as they touch on such as LGBTQA+, history with black members, etc. It’s a great series and I think all church members should watch it, but I definitely don’t see it as a “faith builder”.
